Live Weather Webcams and Radar of Scotland

I’ve embedded various weather webcams onto this page from the areas I tend to photograph the most in Scotland. They’re intended to be used as a quick reference to see the current state of the weather, normally cloud cover or snow levels. In no way shape or form are they intended to replace a traditional weather forecast. It is also worth noting that the webcams are not my own, I therefore take no responsibility for what they show or for their maintenance so be sure to check the time stamp on the video to make sure it is up to date.

I’ve also included an interactive weather radar which allows you to view various weather characteristics such as cloud cover, rain and wind etc.

When I’m planning a hike in the mountains, I usually check forecasts from Mountain Weather Information Service, Met Office Mountain Forecast and Mountain-Forecast.

Feel free to use the weather radar above to check the forecast before heading into the hills. Use the drop-down menu in the top right to view various weather characteristics.
