Torridon

Torridon, located in Northwest Scotland is best described as a landscape of epic proportions, the mountains are epic, the routes to and along many of them are epic and the views from the summits are truly epic. As a landscape photographer, if I was told I could only ever photograph Torridon and only Torridon for the rest of my days, I wouldn’t have a single complaint to make.

You’re spoilt for choice when it comes to mountains in Torridon, but it’s Beinn Alligin, Liathach, Beinn Eighe and Slioch that undoubtedly steal the show. Don’t feel comfortable climbing some of the more difficult mountains? no problem, as all of these mountains have fantastic photo opportunities low down, Loch Clair and Loch Maree being notable locations to photograph from. Needless to say that landscape photography in Torridon will not dissapoint.
